Cameron's been at a Warburtons factory today! What's he doing there? He can say what he wants about the economy, Afghanistan, the NHS, gay rights, the environment..he can mess all those things up if he wants to, just keep sandwiches out of this.
He was probably banging on about National Insurance rises. If any more evidence were needed that none of the three main parties had any idea how to reduce our debts it's this nonsense squabble over National Insurance rises.
They'll essentially arguing over something like £6bn. When we're borrowing £167bn this year alone what frookin difference does £6bn make? It's peanuts. VAT rises, NI rises, efficiency savings..it's bollocks. None of it makes any difference. It's like being diagnosed with Terminal Lung cancer and having your team of doctors draw up a treatment regime that simply involves you smoking either 98 cigarettes a day instead of 100 or 96.
We're doomed. Doomed. As long as they ring fence front line services though I don't care..the NHS, policing, sammiches. Save those and I don't care about anything else.
