Is it possible Gordon Brown is trying to lose the next election, and almost failing? Can it be possible he's so incompetent that he can't even fail properly? These gifts he keeps giving people, the tax stuff, the free mortgage insurance, it's all for two years i.e. up until the next election and all benefiting the people who are his parties core voters, but he's already stated that taxes will rise significantly after two years also i.e. after the election. This is basically him saying if you vote for me you really will be in a shit state.
What incumbent Government has ever told it's electorate that it will raise taxes immediately after an election? We're always asking for more transparency in Government, but this is too transparent. I think he's just decided that his party is a mess, he inherited a fucking mess, the world is a mess, so he's going to lose the next election, let the Tories take the blame for it cause the general public have such short memories, and then try again in six years time when hopefully the globe has made a recovery.
He really seems to be making a point of illustrating how utterly overwhelmed he is by this economic disaster with these poxy rescue packages and initiatives of his. Taking a couple of percent of sales tax when most shops are offering 25% discounts anyway is nonsense and a VAT reduction of 2.5% from 17.5% to 15% does not reduce an items price by £2.50 per £100....it's £2.50 per £117.50 isn't it. It's a £2.50 saving for every £117.50 you spend, which means it's actually £2.13 per £100. I've got that much change down the back of my friggin sofa, who's that going to help?
I'm in two minds as to who I want to win. David Cameron is so far beyond incompetent it's really quite scary. But Gordon Brown is such a lunatic and a control freak we could end up being sold to the Chinese if he continues with his genius economic policies and I do not want to spend the rest of my life in pajamas eating rice and other tricky foods with sticks.
If we're going to be a communist nation, which we almost seem to be now, they'll be a mass exodus across the North Sea to Holland in man made boats in the middle of the night. Bloody typical I have to live as far as away from the sea as possible, I'm gonna start hoarding inner tunes anyway though..I suppose France is closer but fuck that.
